Diamond Sells 12 Simulators to Saudi Aviation Flight Academy (SAFA), Saudi-Arabia

 

As a sign of confidence in the Diamond Group, the newly founded Saudi Aviation Flight Academy (SAFA) signed a contract on the purchase of 20 Diamond training aircraft and 12 flight simulator systems. This venture is the first partnership of the Academy with a company of the private sector and represents a milestone in SAFA’s development. The Academy will train approximately 400 students per year for the next five years. Altogether 120.000 m2 of the Al-Thamama Airport are to be provided for this particular project. The first students are scheduled to begin training in the last quarter of 2010.
